DAVIES, LYNDON
Lyndon was born and brought up in Cardiff and has lived in various parts of Britain and France. He studied English at Aberystwyth University. Lyndon now lives in Llangattock, Powys with his wife, a painter, and combines freelance writing with renovating an old house. His poems have appeared in such publications as Poetry Wales, New Welsh Review, Big Bridge, Roundyhouse and Fire, and also in the anthologies The Pterodactyl’s Wing (Parthian 2003) and Poetry Wales - Forty Years(Seren 2005). He has written many reviews and essays including a series on poetry and art for Poetry Wales. He has published two poetry collections entitled Hyphasis (Parthian 2007) and Shield (Parthian 2010). Lyndon co-runs the Glasfryn Seminars, a series of discussion groups on contemporary literature, and the Hay Poetry Jamboree, a yearly festival of innovative poetry. He is a Member of the Welsh Academy.
