LEE, CAROL
Carol was born in Carmarthenshire, spending much of her childhood in Africa before beginning a career in journalism on the South Wales Echo in Cardiff. She has been a columnist on the Daily Mail and a contributor to the Observer, The Guardian, The Independent, The Sunday Times and The Evening Standard. A playwright and poet, she has spent many years championing authors’ rights and working with writers’ organisations to help protect artists’ copyright. As a result of writing Crooked Angels (Century, 2001), she trained to be an Alexander Technique Teacher. She writes and teaches in London.
