Andrew won first place in the Wales Non–Fiction regional final of the Undiscovered Authors National Writing Competition 2006 for his first book Life in the Fast Food Lane. This is an autobiographical account of his journey of self–discovery as a disabled man striving to find acceptance of blindness and homosexuality. Andrew now spends his time running a disability Art course in Wales, as well as being a stand-up comic and Equality trainer.
