WILLIAMS, IOLO
Iolo Williams, writer, naturalist and broadcaster, was born in Builth Wells and spent most of his childhood in Llanwddyn. After taking an ecology degree, he worked for a short time in farming and forestry before working for the RSPB for fourteen and a half years. He now works in the Media full time, presenting both Welsh and English language programmes. His series include Wild Wales, Wild Winter, Special Reserves, A Natural History of Wales and Iolo’s Canals of Wales. He is married to Ceri and they have two sons, Dewi and Tomos.
