WATKINS, GWEN
Gwen Watkins, and her late husband, the poet Vernon Watkins, were among the few who could claim close and lasting friendship with Dylan Thomas and Caitlin. In her book Dylan Thomas: Portrait of a Friend (Y Lolfa, 1983), she candidly describes their turbulent and often frustrating relationship.
