GEORGE, BRIAN
Brian George was born in Cwmparc in the Rhondda Valley and now lives in Pontypool. He worked in education in various capacities for over thirty years. He studied French and English at Keele University and later completed a PhD in contemporary French literature at the University of Wales, Swansea. He has written articles and book chapters on French theatre and pop music for a variety of academic works and for various conferences.
He has been writing poetry and short stories for a number of years, and many of his works have appeared in literary journals in Wales, England and the USA. He has published two collections of short fiction with Stonebridge Publications.
