Jeremy jamesRetribalised Welshman born in Kenya 1949, now living in Powys, Jeremy writes fulltime for a living. His first book, Saddletramp, (Pelham Books 1987) describes his journey on horseback from Turkey to Wales, whilst Vagabond, (Pelham Books 1990) recounts another journey on horseback, this time through Eastern Europe during the collpase of communism. In 1994 he wrote Debt of Honour and then in 2003, Tippling Philosopher (Merlin Unwin Books), a selection of short stories about low life on the Welsh borders. September 2005 saw the publication of The Byerley Turk; The Story of the First Thoroughbred (Merlin Unwin Books, 2005).

Jeremy has written for most broadsheets, reviewed books, worked for Walt Disney, and contributed to glossies nationally and internationally. He writes screenplay and has made tele docs for the BBC. Currently working on a new novel Day of the Animals, he is open to writing in any medium.
