CORCORAN, PATRICK

Patrick CorcoranPatrick Corcoran was born in Cardiff. He was educated at Atlantic College, St Donats and at Bristol University. He worked in the computer industry for five years, before training as a social worker and specialized in the probation service and family court issues. He now works in Pontypridd. He has won several prizes for his short stories, and was a finalist in The Daily Telegraph short story competition. His 15–minute play Olwen’s Young Man was first broadcast on Radio Wales, then on BBC Radio 4. Patrick is a Member of Academi.
