Lindsay Ashford is a former BBC journalist and the first woman to graduate from Queen’s College Cambridge with a degree in criminology. Originally from Wolverhampton, she now lives in Borth, West Wales and has four children. Her short stories have been published by Honno and broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Lindsay has published three novels in the Megan Rhys Series: Frozen (Honno, 2003), Strange Blood (Honno, 2005) and Death Studies (Honno, 2006). Strange Blood was shortlisted for the Theakston’s Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award 2006. She published a fourth novel in the series in 2008, entitled The Killer Inside, and is due to release a fifth in October 2011.
