Margaret Wyles was born in the industrial valleys of south Wales but brought up in the rural west of the country. Having spent much of her life in England, she now lives in southern France with her husband, the artist Walter Wyles, and her family. Love from Blodwen (Seren, 2004), based the author’s childhood, is a fascinating snapshot of a monumental time in which the trials and triumphs on one child’s family becomes the tale of how modern Wales was forged.Selected Publications:
