Elin Ap HywelPoet, translator and editor who works in Welsh and English. Born in Colwyn Bay. She was educated at Cambridge and Aberystwyth before completing her postgraduate studies in Ireland. Formerly a translator for the National Museums and Galleries of Wales, Elin’s published work has been widely anthologised and translated into Czech, English, German, Italian and Japanese. She enjoys translating poetry herself and versions of Menna Elfyn’s poems have appeared in many of her titles. She was the Royal Literary Fund’s first bilingual Fellow at the University of Wales (2001/02 and 2003/04).
