MAUD, RALPH
Ralph Maud is Emeritus Professor of English and Associate of the Institute for the Humanities at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia. He has edited much of Dylan Thomas’s work, including The Notebook Poems, 1930 – 1934 (Weidenfeld & Nicolson, 1989) and The Broadcasts (J.M. Dent & Sons, 1991), and is co–editor with Walford Davies, of Collected Poems 1934-1953 (Dent, 1996) and Under Milk Wood.
Ralph has taught at the Dylan Thomas School in Wales. As well as being a leading scholar on the work of Dylan Thomas, he has taught modern American poetry for many years and founded the Charles Olson Literary Society. He has also had a long standing interest in the Native peoples of the Pacific Northwest.
