Iwan BalaIwan Bala is a prize–winning and highly acclaimed artist, and a leading commentator on the visual arts in Wales in both Welsh and English. Born in North Wales in 1956, Iwan studied at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and the Cardiff College of Art. An extremely well–established Welsh artist, Iwan has collaborated with playwrights, poets and film-makers. His work is inspired by a concern with the political and cultural issues of Wales.
