Anne LewisChildren’s writer. Born in South Wales, she now lives on Anglesey and works at the Department of Lifelong Learning at the University of Wales, Bangor. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Zoology, and has worked as a zoological illustrator. She won the Honno/Welsh Academy Prize in 1992 and the Welsh Books Council’s Tir na nOg Prize in 1996, for her children’s novel Who’s Afraid of the Bwgan–Wood? (Honno, 1995), which has since been twice reprinted.
