Poet, editor, storyteller, teacher and broadcaster. Born in London and has lived in Cardiff for over thirty years. David taught English in seven high schools. He has contributed to anthologies from Puffin, Macmillan, Oxford, Heinemann, Mary Glasgow and Hodder and been editor of anthologies from Heinemann and Oxford University Press. He won the TES Schoolbook of the Year Award in 1992 with Thin Ice (Oxford University Press, 1991).
