Playwright and poet. Born in Cardiff and educated at both the University of Wales, Lampeter and University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He is currently a Creative Writing Fellow at St David’s University College, Lampeter. Dic’s plays have been produced all over Wales, as well as at the Citizens’ Theatre, Glasgow and Haymarket, London. He has also written libretti for two operas for Broomhill Opera Trust including for the controversial Keith Burstein opera Manifest Destiny. Dic has penned five plays for T.I.E. for children of all ages. He now lives in Aberaeron overlooking the Irish Sea and has recently published his first poetry collection, entitled Walt Whitman and Other Poems (Oberon Books, 2007).
