Playwright and hack. Born Tredegar. Joined RAF in 1940 and served in Africa and Europe. Schoolmaster after the War. Won British Drama League (Welsh Area) Award on four occasions. Won British Drama League (English Area) Award 1960 and runner–up 1962. Won Drama Association of Wales One–Act Play Competition twice. Contributed to BBC’s Thirty Minute Theatre, Morning Story, Woman’s Hour.
