Poet. Born and bred in London to Welsh parents. Works as a TV producer, after a period as a scriptwriter for theatre and TV. He has collaborated on a number of television co-productions, and also co-authored two trilingual theatre pieces, Frongoch and Branwen which have toured in Wales and Ireland. A keen performer of his work with some 15 years experience, culminating in an appearance at the gala concert to mark the opening of the National Assembly in 1999. Winner of the Crown at the 1999 National Eisteddfod with a collection of poems about the problems of learning Welsh. This can be performed in a special bi–lingual presentation with accompanying dance music and film. Ifor introduces the work in English, then performs in Welsh with simultaneous English sub-titles on screen. Ifor was Bardd Plant Cymru (Welsh-language Children’s Laureate) 2008-9.
