| Any other information: The aim of the The Seventh Quarry is to publish quality poetry from Swansea and beyond (poets from around the world have appeared). It is published twice a year: Winter (January) and Summer (July). The magazine has become a co-operating partner with Cross-Cultural Communications Publishers, New York. It is a 64 page publication costing £3.50 per issue of £7 for a year’s subscription (two copies). $10 and $20 for USA subscribers. The Seventh Quarry was awarded "Second Best Small Press Magazine in the UK 2006" by Purple Patch. The Editors also organises THE SEVENTH QUARRY Poetry Events, in collaboration with New York’s Cross-Cultural Communications, for visiting American poets (eight so far) to perform in Swansea and Laugharne. NEW: Spring, 2008: POET TO POET Chapbook Series. 48 page publications published by The Seventh Quarry and Cross-Cultural Communications, New York, featuring a British poet and a non-British poet. The first Chapbook features Peter Thabit Jones and Vince Clemente. The second one features J.C. Evans and Annabelle Moseley. |
