Published 21 October 2017 - By Llenyddiaeth Cymru
Young Storyteller of Wales will take place on Saturday 11 November 2017 in Venue Cymru in Llandudno.

Young Storyteller of Wales  has taken place each year since 2009 and has been the launch pad of exciting new North Wales voices such as Charlotte Duckett, Bronwen Hughes, Bethan Mascerenhas, Ffion Phillips and Tom Turtle. This year, with kind support from Venue Cymru, Arts Council Wales and Llandudno Town Council, there is an exciting programme of free workshops and performances for all the family, starting at midday.  The competitions will take place at 3.15 pm (7-11 years old) and 6.00 pm (12-18 years old).

To take part you must be a young storyteller aged between 7 and 18 years of age, born in or living in Wales, or of Welsh descent. You can tell your story in Welsh, English or bilingually, and enter alone or as a duo or group of three.  There is no entry fee.

Contact Bethan Mascerenhas for further information and to receive an entry form.
