Griffin Books are delighted to be joined by poet Owen Sheers to discuss his recent poetry collection, To Provide All People, over a light lunch.

On the service’s 70th anniversary, To Provide All People is the intimate story of the N.H.S in British society today. Depicting 24 hours in the service, with a regional hospital at the centre of the action, the poem charts an emotional and philosophical map of the N.H.S against the personal experiences that lie its heart; from patients to surgeons, porters to midwives.

The book was also turned into a BBC film ‘The NHS: To Provide All People‘ featuring a stellar cast, including Michael Sheen, Eve Myles, Martin Freeman, Sian Phillips and more.

Tickets include a talk followed by Q&A alongside a light lunch. Please, state any dietary requirements when prompted.
