The workshop will begin with an introduction by the tutor to her chosen theme or form for the session. This will involve a brief presentation, during which handouts will be provided for the attendees. This will be followed by reading and discussion of the handout content, after which attendees will do a short writing exercise. Work will be read aloud for feedback and to promote more discussion and stimulate the exchange of ideas.

The latter part of the workshop will consist of a larger block of writing time during which more sustained pieces of writing will be produced. Enough time will be allowed for each attendee to read their work to the group and to receive feedback and suggestions.

Teifi Writers has a strong base of regular attendees. The group prides itself on the commitment of its members and the good working relationship it has with its tutors.

At Teifi Writes we always welcome new faces. Our workshops provide the opportunity for people to discuss writing and produce their own work in a stimulating and creative environment with professional guidance and advice.

This event is supported by Literature Wales with Writers on Tour funding.
