Literary Tourism

Introduction
Literature Wales is the established provider of a range of literary tourism events and projects within Wales. We aim to enable people to engage with their literary heritage within the Welsh landscape in different ways, taking visitors into the heart of the worlds which have inspired the writers of Wales. Much of our work is in partnership with other national bodies such as Cadw, Visit Wales, The National Museum of Wales and the National Trust.
Since 2008, Literature Wales has run annual programmes of literary tours across Wales, increasing interest in, and knowledge of prominent figures and interweaving themes in the literatures of Wales. We also run several other literary tourism projects including the plaques website, which presents all known literary plaques in Wales.
