Kaixin Writing Competition

The Kaixin Writing Competition is held every three months. Its main aim is to promote a better understanding of China.
Cathy Doheny from the U.S won the inaugural Kaixin Writing Competition with her touching story - ’Awakening to the whisper’. She was awarded with the $A250 inaugural first prize.
The next competition will end December 08, with further competitions planned for 2009.
The topic for the December 2009 competition is ’China’
- First Prize is $A100 (Entry is $A10)
- The entry will be permanently posted on Kaixin (currently with over 1,000 unique logins per day) and will be circulated to over 1,000 writing groups worldwide.
- The author will be able to include a link to their own website and to any publications they have for sale.
Length: 1000 words min/1500 words max.
