CILIE family (Bois y Cilie) Poets

A family descended from the bardd gwlad Jeremiah Jones (1855-1902), of Cilie farm (Llangrannog). Their published works consist of much light but ingenious material, mostly in the strict metres, but just as often a more profound and classical note is struck. The latest generation includes the actor, Huw Ceredig, the singer and Plaid Cymru president, Dafydd Iwan, and the language campaigner, Emyr Llywelyn.
