Sue Barrow brings Cardiff and Valleys History alive for children.

This summer sees the publication of two local history books for children by Cardiff writer Sue Barrow. The Hometown History of Cardiff (Hometown World) will be available in early July, with its Welsh Valleys counterpart being published this August.

Both books trace the history of their respective locations in an educational and fun way, bringing to life the headline events from Roman times right through to the twenty-first century. Sue describes the books as 'a bit like Horrible Histories but without the gory bits!'
