Phil Carradice's blog for BBC Wales
Academi Board Member Phil Carradice now writes a regular blog for BBC Wales. It is mainly a history blog, covering a wide range of topics such as Haggar's Cinema in Pembroke, the first man to fly across the Irish Sea and the strange story of the Welsh Whisky Galore.
However, he also covers literary topics. Recent articles include the homes or houses of Welsh writers and soldiers poetry from World War One. Phil Carradice is a poet, short–story writer, novelist, historian and editor. His work has been featured in a wide range of magazines including Poetry Wales, The Times Educational Supplement, Anglo-Welsh Review and the New Welsh Review. He was formally the editor of The South Wales Golfer, the leading golf magazine in Wales, and is now part of the editorial team for Roundyhouse poetry magazine.
