2010 Cardiff International Poetry Competition
And the Winner is…

The much awaited results of the 2010 Cardiff International Poetry Competition will be announced on Wednesday 9 June at a ceremony in Cardiff Bay. The results will also be posted on the Academi website the same day. The 2010 Competition was judged by poets Jackie Kay and Zoë Skoulding. Aberystwyth based poet Tiffany Atkinson continued in her role as filter judge.

The winners of the 2010 competition will be announced at an official celebratory lunch at the renowned 5 star St. David’s Hotel and Spa in Cardiff Bay. The winners will be announced and the prizes awarded by National Poet of Wales, Gillian Clarke and competition judge Zoë Skoulding. This intimate event, in the company of the prize-winners, their families, local literary enthusiasts and writers, will begin at 12.00 noon.

The 2010 Cardiff International Poetry Competition is supported by Cardiff Council. Continued support from Cardiff Council has been confirmed for the 2011 Competition which will be launched by Academi in September this year.

Tickets are strictly limited and must be booked in advance.
