Welsh Poets Feature In First Ever Wenlock Poetry Festival

, John Barnie, Menna Elfyn and Paul Henry are all set to take part in the first ever Wenlock Poetry Festival in the Shropshire town of Much Wenlock from 9 to 11 April.  Gillian, John and Menna will share a platform on Saturday 10 April, giving readings and hosting a group discussion. Paul Henry will read on the following day.

 
The Wenlock Poetry Festival is supported by two laureate poets – Gillian Clarke and Carol Ann Duffy. “We’re looking forward to a magnificent fusion of Welsh and English poetic traditions,” says festival organiser, Anna Dreda of Wenlock Books.
