The Big Read in Newport is an event for the whole family. Throughout the day on Wednesday 28 October there will be plenty of book-filled, hands-on fun for both adults and children. There will be a wide range of talks from authors including Trevor Fishlock, Bernard Knight, Lynne Barrett-Lee and Dai Smith and local up and coming author, Mathew Scott. Workshops will include Creative Writing, Arts and Crafts, Storytelling, Poetry and much more.
