10.20 am - 11.00 am - Wonder and the Work of Mary Oliver: Professor Ian Gregson discusses the work of one of America’s best-selling poets and considers the significance of nature poetry in the 21st Century.
11.00 am - 11.30 am - Coffee break
11.30 am - 12.30 pm - The Country Diary: John Vidal talks to Paul Evans and Jim Perrin about the longest-running daily column in British journalism.
Afternoon session 2.00 pm - 6.00 pm

2.00 pm - 3.00 pm - The Annual William Condry Memorial Lecture on Nature and The Welsh Tradition, delivered by Professor Gwyn Thomas, followed by questions and discussion.
3.00 pm - 4.30 pm - Nature and Poetry: readings and panel with Gillian Clarke, Ian Gregson and Damian Walford Davies.
4.30 pm - 5.00 pm - Tea break
5.00 pm - 6.00 pm - Nature and the City Boy, Crumpsall to Connemara: Mike Harding talks about his journey from the cobbled streets of industrial Manchester to
his house in the West of Ireland, via the wild places of the world.
6:00 pm - Join Coch-y-Bonddu books for the launch of A Portrait of Machynlleth
and its surroundings (translated by Nicholas Fenwick). Free event – no ticket required.
Evening session 7.30 pm - 9.00 pm

7.30 pm - 9.00 pm - A Wilderness World: lecture/audio-visual presentation by Cameron
McNeish, broadcaster, writer and editor of The Great Outdoors magazine, followed by questions and summing-up.
