On Tour: Fflur Dafydd and Owen Sheers

After performing at venues across Europe and the USA Owen Sheers and Fflur Dafydd are joining forces once again to perform at a number of venues in Wales this October. Together Fflur and Owen will perform their work in a unique bilingual evening of poetry, prose and song. This is an event not to be missed.
Fflur is a novelist, singer-songwriter and also currently a lecturer in Creative Writing at Swansea University. In June this year she was announced as the first winner of the Oxfam Emerging Writer of the Year Award. This was shortly followed with further success at the National Eisteddfod in Bala, where she was awarded the prestigious Daniel Owen Memorial Prize.
Owen is an award-winning poet and novelist. His debut prose work The Dust Diaries (Faber, 2004) won the Wales Book of the Year Award in 2005 and his first novel Resistance (Faber, 2008) has been translated into nine languages.
