Cardiff author Holly Howitt launches her debut novella The Schoolboy, published by Cinnamon Press. Following the success of her sharply observed microfiction collection, Dinner Time, Holly Howitt delivers another book marked by its intelligence, wit and disturbing candour. The narrative follows Nick in his last year at school. Plagued by secrets, self doubt, guilt and fury, the flaws in his character inevitably lead him into the hands of the damaged, unscrupulous and malevolent.

Cinnamon Press present an innovative collaboration between poet Philip Gross and photographer Simon Denison, I Spy Pinhole Eye. "What Denison presents - the dark rootings of steel and concrete in a flashlit night; the feeling of something slamming into the earth…the strange, focused moony chill that freezes everything - moves through the clarity, steadiness and humaneness of Philip Gross's verbal imagination to create something new" (George Szirtes).
