 Women in Tune Festival

Women In Tune / Cytgord Y Merched, the only women's music festival in the British Isles, is taking place in Ceredigion over the August bank holiday.

As well as the extensive musical line-up, which includes a headline performance from Dartmoor singer-songwriter Carolyn Hillyer, there will also be creative writing and poetry workshops and performances from Ceredigion writers Simone Mansell Broome, Carol Lovekin, Collette Power, Dr Vole and Bríd Wyldearth.

Carol Lovekin will lead creative writing workshop What's in A Word; Bríd Wyldearth will be performing her feminist and eco spiritual poetry with women from Côr Gobaith, Rooh Star and Sabine Grun from Welsh Women's Aid in We Say No To Violence; Collette Power will be co-facilitating ecological workshop Work That Reconnects plus comical and moving performances from Simone Mansell Broome and Dr Vole.
