Wales Book of the Year Long List 2009

Wales Book of the Year Long List 2009 will be launched at an event held in partnership with the School of Welsh, Bangor University.  Tudur Owen will be presenting the evening and John Barnie and Luned Emyr will present adjudications on behalf of the two judging panels.  Two students from Bangor University, Manon Wyn Williams and Aaron Morris will perform extracts of the winning works and Gwilym Morus will provide musical entertainment.  Join us to celebrate the success of the twenty authors that made it to the long list and enjoy a glass of wine in their company. 

The Short List of three titles in each language will be announced at The Hay Festival on Monday 25 May and the names of the two winning authors that will receive £10, 000 each will be announced at a glittering ceremony in Cardiff bay on Monday 15 June.
